Our Story

TapOkay was born from a personal need. When our founder's mother started living alone, the constant worry was overwhelming. Traditional medical alert systems felt invasive and "old," and daily phone calls sometimes felt like checking up on a child rather than connecting with a parent.

We wanted to create something that dignified independence. Something that said "I'm living my life" rather than just "I haven't fallen."

Today, TapOkay is designed for families who want a bridge of communication that balances safety with autonomy. We are a team of designers, engineers, and caregivers dedicated to making aging in place safer and more connected.
