TapOkay Team
The articles on the TapOkay blog are written by the small team that builds the TapOkay app. We write for adult children looking out for an aging parent, and for anyone who lives alone and wants someone to notice if something goes wrong.
Our editorial standards
- Reputable sources. Health and safety facts are drawn from public sources such as the CDC, the National Institute on Aging (NIA), the Alzheimer's Association, AARP and the US Census Bureau, and we name the source in the article.
- Reviewed for accuracy. Every article is checked against its sources before publishing, and again when it is updated. Claims about TapOkay are checked against what the app actually does today.
- No medical advice. We are not doctors. Our articles are general information to help families plan and talk. For health concerns, speak with a doctor or other qualified professional.
- Dates shown. Each article shows when it was published and when it was last updated, so you know how current it is.
- Honest about our product. When we compare TapOkay with other apps or services, we say where others may fit better.
